Although formally established in 2004, we have already been working as a team for 5 years. The team structure occasionally changes to meet our clients' needs, however the people listed below are responsible for the majority of ATW's projects. ![]() Tatevik Hovhannisyan Tatevik has many years of experience across a number of industries including translation and public relations. She is a freelance translator for a number of US and European translation agencies. A graduate in Linguistics from the State Linguistic University of Armenia, Tatevik is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Economics and Marketing from the Armenian National Academy of Sciences. ![]() Robert Avak Robert has been a full-time interpreter and translator for translation agencies and the Ministry of Justice in the Netherlands since 1995, rendering services to clients such as lawyers, legal aid agencies, medical staff, and law enforcement authorities. His written work mainly consisted of assignments for a wide variety of companies, including legal and medical documents, product monographs, business correspondence and texts from other areas of expertise such as business, art, economics etc. Robert is the author of the book 'Kauderwelsch-Armenisch', an Armenian language guide for German-speaking travelers to Armenia, and was the liaison officer of the Armenian delegation for the OSCE Conference in Maastricht in 2003. ![]() Aram Ohanian A graduate of the English Department at Moscow State University, Aram Ohanian translates from and into Armenian, Russian and English, specializing in criminal and civil law, medicine, accounting, finance, banking, environment, energy, seismology, mining, regional security, etc. The range of his skills covers simultaneous and consecutive interpretation and translation of both fiction and technical texts. Some of his translated fiction authors include Ray Bradbury, William Saroyan, John Updike, Robert Sheckley, James Thurber, Roald Dahl, and G. K Chesterton. ![]() Ashot Petrosyan Ashot started his professional career in the early nineties working as a reporter and translator for major Armenian news agencies and periodicals. For several years, he served as a Senior Language Expert at the Armenian Parliament. Since 2000 Ashot has been involved in the IT and software industry working as a technical writer and translator for local software companies. Ashot's portfolio of projects includes user guides, manuals, online help systems, promotional materials for software products, web sites and online help systems.
